Is there anyone here who has watched Dumbo that hasn't cried at just one point in the movie?

Man, I haven't seen Dumbo in FOREVER! I barely remember "Baby Mine" other than that it's sad. I'm sure it would make me cry. I really need to go out and buy it, I don't think I even own a good copy of it.
My current Disney movie of choice is Mary Poppins. I've watched it almost every day for the last, like, two weeks. Haha.

Last year for Christmas I bought my sister Cinderella on DVD and boy do I regret it! Dont get me wrong, I LOVE Cinderella, but she forces me to watch it whenever we want to watch a movie together. "Wanna watch a movie?" "Sure. Let's watch Cinderella." "But we've watched it for the last 3 weekends. Pick another Disney movie. Or how about Mean Girls, we havent watched Mean Girls in awhile." "NO, CINDERELLA!" Did I mention she's 21? My current obsession would have to be Sleeping Beauty. The story and music together are simply magical. I mean, who doesnt like to sing Once Upon A Dream? I know I sure do. youtube.com/watch?v=C-6fYCMqSN4

I don't know what's up with the "Disney Vault" either. I'm sure it must have something to do with money, because unfortunately that's what Disney's all about these days, but I'm not sure how not selling a movie will get them more money...

I think it has to do with the new generation of kids. My generation was the last group to get classic Disney animated movies (90's kids). The kids now aren't getting any new movies, so Disney figures they've lost interest... Am I making sense or rambling?

You make sense, midnightangel, I just wish you were wrong. Unfortunately, I think you're right. I wish Disney would encourage the younger generations to be more interested in the classics instead of locking away those movies. Wouldn't it be awesome if the Disney Channel regularly showed things like Cinderella or Alice in Wonderland, instead of just showing things like High School Musical or Hannah Montana or whatever it is they show these days?
Or I wish there could be a Disney Classics Channel, where they could show all the old movies, plus maybe some of the old TV specials with Walt on them, the old Mickey Mouse Club, and classic animated shorts like Steamboat Willy. I would watch that channel all the time!

Hannah Montana. *gag* I am not a fan of the Cyrus family. I personally think her father was untalented and the single hit song he did have completely went to his head, causing his daughter to think she's go such great genetics for singing. Neither of them are great. Neither or them are even good. And don't get me started on High School Musical. Disney really should encourage children to enjoy the classics. I mean, if they aren't even going to tell good stories with these new movies/shows, then take the channel off the air and give the kid a friggin' book! I mean, seriously, all their movies were so good and the animation is stunning. It's a lost art-- their only going to make one more animated movie that I've heard about. And I'll bet you it's not as good as the originals.

I apologize for totally changing the subject, especially since we've got a good conversation going on here, but I just had to mention that I saw Ratatouille tonight and it's soooo adorable! The characters and plotline are so sweet, and I think this is the best animation that's come out of Pixar yet.
