I told you several months ago that I was working on the site and there would be some cool changes, and it's been all this time and there haven't been any changes at all, and you're all going "OMG, what's up? We're gonna die if we don't find out what's going on with Little Meg!!1" Right? Of course you are. So here's the deal:
I hit some technical difficulties while updating the site, and there have been some other issues that I don't want to delve into too deeply, and then real life got in the way recently. I'm currently in the middle of working it all out. I just wanted you all--that is, the two or three of you who happen to drop by here every once in a while--to know that this site is not going to die, and will in fact be better once I can straighten everything out.
In the meantime, I'd really like your input on the site and especially on the board. What things would you like to see added or changed? Is there something I could do that would make you more likely to come around often? I really want you all to enjoy the site and forum, so please let me know if you have any thoughts.

I'd love to see some E/M and Meg wallpapers. Interactive stuff "Favorite Meg Giry scene" "Best Meg Giry line" or a contest! "Little Giry Poetry contest" or...something...
just suggestions, I didn't want to put too much, so you don't have to go to any more trouble than you have to. I LOVE your site! It's one of my favorites, and, one of the extremly few that supports E/M! You know there are only TWO E/M sites. Srsly. (I count this one as one, because of all the E/M stuff) and the erik_meg lj site. You've been doing a fantastic job with this site, and I'll keep on poking in, to see what's new, (I still come back and look at all the pics, cause I'm weird like that. ;D )

First of all, I feel really crappy that I haven't been here for so long. *is ashamed of herself  * I still love the site, I've just had so much other stuff happening lately. Anyway, as for content I'd like to see, I think it might be nice to have a little humor/fun section. It could have lists, like "Top 10 Reasons Why Meg Is Better Than Christine" or a Meg obssession list, or a Meg trivia quiz. |

Thanks so much for the suggestions guys, I really do appreciate them! I love the ideas for the fun and interactive sections! I was also thinking maybe making a section devoted especially to the E/M pairing. I'll keep all the fan art in its own section, but the E/M section could have things in it like "Why I think Erik should end up with Meg" and other such lists/essay things. Maybe also a list of some of the songs from the E/M songs topic here on the board...what do you all think?

The E/M section sounds wonderful! That pairing is highly frowned upon in the fandom (much like Raoul/Christine, I might add  ). It'd be nice to see people supporting it instead of bashing it! |

Gaaaah. I think I've hit another technical roadblock. I'm not entirely sure what's gone wrong now and I'll keep you all posted, but it may put off the reopening of the site some more. I really thought I was super close to getting it open again too.  |
