Stage Crew is awesome! Thanks for "Hurrah-ing" my friend. He's so thrilled to be in the show! (this is slightly off topic, but my friend (who's in Little Shop)who just got back from NYC, went to see Wicked, went to the stage door, met the cast and one of his favorite people ever Julia Murney, and he had the cast sign a playbill for me!! Gosh I'm so excited! I wasn't expecting any gifts! I adore Wicked So much! Sorry! I don't mean to brag!

Oooooohhhh, that's so cool! (And that's totally not bragging, what I did in the Les Mis topic is bragging, LOL!) I've heard nothing but amazing stuff about Julia Murney, so that's even MORE awesome! It was really sweet of him to get a signed Playbill for you too; I never think to do nice stuff like that for my friends.

Today I audition for this role in the show Harvey? I think it's called that where I can has a 6ft imaginary rabbit as his friend. It was all cold play so I didn't pick my part, but the drama teacher did. She had me audition as Meryl, (think the name is right), I am so bad. Since we have such short time 2 do the play, she had call backs after everyone finished reading their lines, and I was called back! So may be I might be in the play! At least I say I tried.

Well turns out I wasn't pick. Oh well. Wait till they seem in a few years staring in a motion picture with Gerard Butler. They'll wish they had put me in Harvey.

Awww, I'm sorry you didn't get in. *hugs* That sucks, but they just obviously are completely blind, so don't take it personally. Just like you said, they'll see you in the future and realize what a horrible mistake they made.
...and now I feel like watching the movie version of Harvey...

I'm sorry you didn't get in. It does suck, but a lot of times, it's the director's bias or preference that causes casting cuts. It may have been any number of things, but I'm sure you did fine. And when you and Gerry are filming a blockbuster hit, that director's going to be kicking him/herself.

A bit of a topic revival here: I just crewed my highschool's production of Guys and Dolls. It was a really good show. I was a bit skeptical at first but it really grew on me and I liked it alot. It was alot of fun! Also just saw the best high school production of Peter Pan in my life, the most spectacular cast and crew. The whole show was incredible and left me amazed!

Awww, sounds great! Interesting timing too, because I just happened to see the best community production I've ever seen - of Urinetown - this past weekend. I love it when a local production is awesome!
