I'm sure several of you here are probably fans of Les Mis and so it will be good to have a topic for it, but I must admit my creation of this thread is mostly selfish because I just needed a place to squee...
I'm seeing my favorite Phantom, Brad Little, as Javert in Sacramento in three weeks! Eeeeeee! It's been so long since I've seen him in person, I can't wait!

I've never seen Les Mis, but I adore the original cast recording! That is SO awesome that you are going to see Brad as Javert!  I hope you have a fantastic time! |

Ok, well, there was a change of plans. I originally had tickets to see the show tomorrow, and I still do, but...I got to go opening night too! And and and, are you ready for this? I GOT TO GO TO THE CAST PARTY! I GOT TO GO TO A REAL CAST PARTY WITH REAL LIVE BROADWAY STARS INCLUDING MY FAVORITE PHANTOM EVER OMG SQUEEEEEEEE! I posted two incredibly long reviews on my LJ: one of the show and one of the cast party. That was probably the most unbelievable, exciting and surreal night of my life. |

OH MY GOSH!!! phantomgirl110, that is just SO COOL! I'm so happy that you had such an amazing time! I was totally catatonic for hours when I saw Gary Mauer in May and he brought me back stage. GOSH! I can't even imagine how you feel!! That is SO AWESOME!

Oh, it was the most incredible experience. I still can't believe it actually happened. I saw the show again on Saturday and Brad signed the picture we took together on Tuesday night: "To Mandy, my feather girl, much love, Brad Little". SQUEEEEEE! I also got to talk to Andrea Rivette (Fantine) and Juliana Ashley Hansen (Eponine) and they were both incredibly sweet too!
It's still so awesome that you got to go backstage with Gary! Lucky, lucky you!
