Since I saw in the spam thread that there are at least three HP fans here, I thought it'd be a good idea to have a thread!
So who's everybody's favorite character/ship/house/book/movie/whatever? What are you most looking forward to in Deathly Hallows or Order of the Phonix? Is Snape good or bad? Inquiring minds want to know!

Favorite Character So difficult for me to choose! I love the Marauder Age Group (excluding Peter). In my MAG, there's Lupin, Sirius, and Severus. James and Lily are too untangible, but these other three, I've come to love through the course of the books. Favorite Ship R/Hr. They're meant for each other and have been since at least Book 3. Favorite House Gryffindor! I'm part of Mugglenet's Fanfiction Fourms (MNFF) and that's where I was sorted and participate actively. I admire the Gryffindor bravery, appreciate their sarcasm, and have similar over-protective tendencies to certain canon Gryffs. Book My favorite is "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban". I loved Lupin's character in that one, Snape became a little less of a mystery, and Sirius was the coolest. *fangirl grin* Movie Favorite movie would have to be the second one. I think it followed the book most closely. I am most looking forward to resolution in DH. I'm scared to death, but I want closure of sorts. In OotP, I want to see the DoM battle so bad! As well as Snape's Worst Memory. Snape Snape is bad, right now. But I have all the faith in the world that he will come out as a good guy (or at least, Order supporter) in the end.

YAY! A Harry topic! It's tough for me to choose who my favorite character is too! I love Harry (who doesn't??) But I think my favorite is Hagrid. There is just something about how big and strong he is but he has such a huge heart and he's so sweet. I adore him! My favorite ship is definately Harry/Hermione. I know it's kind of cliche, sorry! I just believe they would be so good together, in my opinion! I gotta say I like Gryffindor too! My favorite book is "Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix." My favorite movie is the first one! I'm telling you, if certain people end up dying in "Deathly Hallows" I'm going to sob for a week! LOL. I'm seriously going to need some ice cream! Since OOTP is my favorite book, I just HOPE that they didn't take TOO much out to make the movie! I PRAY that it follows the PLOT of the BOOK!!!! *crosses fingers* GRRRRR! Snape makes me mad! I just can't ever see the man who killed Dumbledore become a good guy. I can't wait for the book! I'm SO excited! I severely need to catch up on my summer reading!

I guess I should answer my own questions, huh? Be forewarned: I'm extremely indecisive!
My favorite characters are Fred and George, but Fred in particular. I love a whole bunch of characters, but I always look forward to the scenes that they're in the most, heh. My next favorite is Ron, I love him. I guess I just have a thing for Weasley boys. ^_^
I agree with midnightangel on favorite ship: R/Hr forever! No offense to chorusgirl or anybody else who likes H/Hr, but for some reason I just can't stand that pairing! I dunno, it just bothers me the same way Jack/Elizabeth bothers me in POTC.
I'm a Gryffindor fan too, wheee!
I really can't pick a favorite book, I love them all too much to choose. I don't really have a favorite movie either, but I'd probably say one of the first two if I was forced to choose. There are some things like about the third and fourth (they certainly were entertaining as stand-alone movies), but the first two followed the books so much better. And seriously, movie people, MAKE HERMIONE'S HAIR BUSHIER, plzkthnx.
I'm just looking forward to having some new HP to read this summer, there's nothing in particular that I'm waiting for beyond the overall, you know? I'm terrified at having it all be over, though. And for movie five, I can't wait for Fred and George's exit from Hogwarts! I just hope they don't screw it up. And I know it's unlikely, but I'm hoping they'll randomly put Peeves back in so that Fred can say "Give her hell from us, Peeves." It's stupidly important to me.
I'm not sure where I stand on Snape. I'd really like for him to end up good, but Rowling's done a good job of keeping me completely confused.

I saw the movie yesterday! It was awesome, best one thus far IMO. I won't disclose anything else, until I know others have seen it, though...
I'm so scared about book seven. I mean, the nervous, knotted stomach feeling hasn't left me since last week. It's gotten worse now that I'm rereading the series. Anyone else feel worried?

I was mostly excited until yesterday, when I accidentally came across a mjor spoiler. I'm hoping, hoping, HOPING that it was a load of crap and somebody was just trying to freak HP fans out, but either way it made me realize that characters are going to die and that this is actually THE END.

I found a spoiler, too. It was def. not true. There were too many American-isms for the bit to be Jo's writing.

I finished. I got the book at one thirty, began reading at two, read until seven, crashed, woke up and read, was made to eat and do dishes, resumed reading and finished.
I won't spoil the ending. I won't tell y'all who died. I will say there are shocks and twists I didn't forsee.
And the release party rocked. I went with a group of friends (there were seven of us, excluding parents) and I ran into tons of my friends and fellow Harry Potter fans. I also came in costume (Narcissa Malfoy, if you must ask. I have a love for glamour, what can I say? The dress was something only a pureblood would wear). We had an awesome time.

I created a second HP thread with a major spoiler warning, so we can discuss Book 7 in detail. In case anybody's interested.
You're so lucky you got to go to a release party, midnightangel! I wanted to so bad, but my parents wouldn't let me and all of my real-life friends who are into HP basically ignore me.

This has nothing to do with HP, but someone told me, today actually, that Twilight was bumped up to Nov, 21st from it's original premiere of Dec. 12th.
Coincidence? Or evil plot to kill HP?
