Yeah, I know it's a really vague thread title. I thought maybe it'd be a good idea to have a thread for movies in general: your favorites, upcoming releases you're looking forward to, your thoughts on a movie you just saw recently, etc.
Is anybody else as excited about The Dark Knight as I am? I'm not even really a Batman fan, but this movie looks like it's going to be amazing, the cast is fantastic, and the whole internet campaign has got me all swept up.

Batman is my favorite hero of all time and I'm so glad Hollywood took a turn and actually looked at the comic book to make a whole new movie series...I've wanted to see this movie as soon as I saw the end of the first movie in a theater

The Dark Knight's gonna be epic. It has to be. Heck, it will be even if it's really not.
Pretend that made sense.
What are your favorite movies, guys? Any movies, from any time.

I saw Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. My friends dragged me to it and it was actually really sad.
And Blake Lively is really cute.

Was it good sad or just sad sad? I love the books and the first movie was ok. (I'm too big a fan of the books to have been completely in love with the movie, haha.)
So who else LOVED The Dark Knight? I've seen it twice.

I guess it was a good sad. But some parts were just sad sad! I wont give any spoilers for anyone who hasnt seen/read SOTTP, but it really made me want to hug my mom!
I still havent seen Dark Knight! No one ever wants to go to the movies. I heard it was AMAZING though. Maybe I'll go by myself tonight so I dont have to entertain my parents guests...

Aww, I hope you get to see it! (With someone, for your sake, but even by yourself if you have to!) It was amazing, I think I liked it even more the second time.

Saw Lakeview Terrace yesterday..dad said it was dreary but if you want to see Patrick Wilson in another role... Is that the one with Samuel L. Jackson as the crazy neighbor/cop?
