Original Broadway cast member Dodie Pettit has a really fabulous site with a ton of backstage pictures and information. I just posted about on the blog. You should all definitely go check it out, it has a ton of great behind-the-scenes details and several Meg/ballet chorus pics. (Dodie was in the ballet chorus and understudied Meg, and later played Christine on the US tour.) |

I've never gotten to see or hear her as Meg, but I've heard clips of her as Christine (opposite her husband Kevin Gray as the Phantom), and I liked her voice. I've also gotten to hear some of her compositions -- on Kevin's album, "It's My Time to Shine," four songs including the title track were written by her.
I got to meet Kevin at the stage door of The Lion King when the show came to Hawaii, and again at the Three Phantoms concert a couple months ago... Never got to meet Dodie, though, but judging from her site, she's a wonderful artist and person in general.
