It isn't THE worst rendition of the song I've ever heard... I'll admit, though, that I didn't like all his pronounciations, but still... I'll give him credit for not totally butchering the song until the last note. "Night" was the possibly worst I've heard in a while.

Well don't discredit him too soon Andrew Lloyd Webber even said himself he could be Phantom (of course Webber is also making that awful sequel a musical which brings his belief that he is a great composer down a slight notch)

He's wasnt too bad. I just didnt enjoy his "be" and "night". I found this in the Related Videos for the America's Got Talent Music of the Night. I really like the spin these guys have to the song. More of a upbeat jazzy pop song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDcQmYn_gPQ |

I agree with midnightangel on the first guy posted. It wasn't painful to listen to, but I wouldn't want him to actually play the Phantom. My niggest problem with him was his diction, or lack thereof.
