I don't think Erik would like most songs by the Monkeys, especially "Wouldn't It Be Nice". I'm not sure why, but I think that one would especially annoy him. I also don't think he'd like anything performed by singers like Celtic Woman, Hayley Westenra, Charlotte Church...those semi-classical sounding ones, or the ones who often get called opera singers but aren't really. I think he'd be annoyed that they weren't singing properly. (Keep in mind, that's what I think his opinion is, not necessarily mine.) Have "Hollaback Girl" and "The Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani been mentioned yet? If not, I'm adding those now. I do have a phan video of Hollaback Girl which is all about Carlotta as if Erik wouldnt' find the song annoying enough. |

The Macarena!!! Erik would not understand the dance. This makes me think of the YMCA, Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, and Limbo. He would not like it at all.

For some reason, I think Erik would hate MCR and "emo" music. *shrugs* Probably because of all the stereotypes about him "connecting" to it. Y'know? It's like, Erik loves opera, but phans tend to think "Ooh! 'Welcome to the Black Parade' has the word 'Phantom' in it; it must be Erik's theme song!" I love MCR, not bashing them, but I think Erik would find their music "rough" to say the least.

I don't remember if this has been mentioned before or not, but I think Erik would hate Legally Blonde: the Musical, especially "Omigod You Guys". I love it, but I think it would drive him up the wall.
