It's so nice to have active conversation in a thread for once! (In the Phantom Sequel thread.) I know we have fairly regular posts in the E/M songs thread and Opera Angel posts her beautiful banners often, but the sequel discussion thread is the first time we've ever really had good conversation here. I'd like to have more of that...any ideas? I mean, is "controversy" good? Should we argue about the movie or something, would that cause more conversation? I'm completely open to topic suggestions...and of course, none of you need to wait for me to start something! Start threads if you have ideas!
And, as always, thanks for sticking with this rather boring little forum. ^_^

I bet if we argued about the movie there'd be a LOT more posts. I think we all have much to say about that.

I know that I always have to defend the movie... and I've seen the stage show!

It sounds like would definitely create some more action...but I wish there was a way to generate more interest without us having to be at each other's throats over the movie, since I hate almost everything about it...

And love the movie *sob* although I don't watch it much as I would like because the ending depresses me

Perhaps we could have monthly discussions spanning different topics-- not just the movie. For example:
The Meg-Christine Friendship (where did it come from? did you like it? Why or why not?)
The changing of characters from the novel
Meg/Someone Else-- Who besides Erik can Meg be written with and how.
Or perhaps we could have challenges/exchanges on a regular basis. Supporting phanart, phanphiction, and phanvids onto the site might promote it some more as well. Especially if we open it up as a competition or gift exchange.
