I &hearts Lisa Vroman. I saw her in the role for the first time when I was ten, and then I got to see her twice more when the show came back to SF in 2003. She has one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard.

Oh, Lisa Vroman is a great Christine, I absolutely adore her precious voice... she is just perfect, really.
And about my favorite Christines... oh I just have so many... but the short version of the list would be:
Anna Maria Kaufmann
Sandra Joseph
Rebecca Caine

Hurrah, another Lisa fan! And those are some great Christines! I've never had the opportunity to see any of them live--except Lisa, of course--but I've heard them through *cough* other means.
And Opera Angel, Sandra is wonderful. She's leaving the Broadway production relatively soon, which is sad...a lot of people think Rebecca Pitcher's going to come up and take her place.

Well I think she is the alternate but they didn't say anything about replacing Phantom and it said that Rebecca was just performing for certain shows at certain days and times

Sandra is the current principal Christine and Rebecca is the alternate. Usually--to the best of my knowledge--the alternate plays the role twice a week (at the matinees, I think), and the principal plays it six times. Christine is such a demanding role that only a couple of actresses have ever tried to play all eight performances a week.
All three of the current Broadway leads are leaving soon. Sandra is leaving April 15th, Tim Martin Gleason (Raoul) is going to the Las Vegas production which starts preview performances on June 4th, and Howard's contract ends early next month, I believe.

Never have I seen the musical, what I have is a folder on my computer where I keep many, many MP3s, Clips, Pictures, etc., of stage!Christines, Phantoms, Raouls, and Megs, though I newly added the Meg one. There are longer fav Christine lists however; I once read one at PhansOnline that must have had about 40+ names.

Wow i would love clips of stage shows all i have is german with anna maria kaufman a short clip of colby thomas and then some more german (Not sure who christine is) and of course the original and movie one

My very favorite Christine is...Elizabeth Southard. I think that she is magnificent! But I also like Marie Danvers, Rebecca Caine, Claire Moore, Lisa Vroman, Rebecca Pitcher, Sandra Joseph and Sarah Brightman.
