Discuss Jen, her portrayal of Meg, post pictures, or whatever here!
I personally think Jen's adorable--she was my favorite part of the 2004 film--but I wish she wouldn't pose in underwear so often. She obviously has a gorgeous body, but few people recognize her talent because they are just staring at her boobs. And that makes me sad, because she actually is a classically trained ballerina, and she played Roxie in Chicago in the West End, so she obviously has a ton of talent.

Wow I never saw those you are right most of her pics are somewhat of her in sexy outfits...but she is definietly talented. I also loved her singing voice..she actually has a pretty voice

I just love Jennifer Ellison's Meg Giry. Even though Meg is supposed to be brunette, I think that her appearance is so sweet and gentle... It fits the character, at least the ALW version. ...Same for her voice and acting. I personally thought that she was great; actually, her acting was much better than Emmy Rossum's acting, and I daresay better singing too. Not to mention better dancing (well ballet lessons since age 3! ...Obvious...!)...
But I’m not such of a fan of hers since she is a Maxim model, etc., I don't know but in my option, I can't like her a hundred percent for that fact, but anyway or anyhow, she is still a great Meg, and also, my favorite.
Oh and she looks so beautiful and talented on those ballet pictures! Just gorgeous...! …And megnificent too!

Actually I wish Jennifer had more singing roles in the movie because she does have a nice voice, but I didn't know Meg was actually a brunette...most stage megs have been blondes

What about in other countries? I saw a picture of a Korean Meg and she was dark haired although Japanese Meg looked like she had fair hair

Oh, you're right, I completely forgot; the Asian Megs do have dark hair/wigs too. Like Jee Hyun Noh, the Korean actress playing Meg in the current World Tour: she has a dark wig.

She wears a wig? Now why would she do that? I don't really care what color hair Meg has as long as she can dance and have a really nice singing voice. Same goes for Christine.

I didn't know that..I've always wanted to dress up as christine for halloween but I wouldn't wear a wig..just wear my hair down although it's quite long

I guess that ALW wanted the musical to be Leroux-like in small details (like Christine's hair) since it was very different to it in many other ways... Originally, Sarah Brightman was supposed to wear a blond wig for when she acted as Christine, but they canceled the idea... There have actually been a few issues w/ the characters hair, esp. Christine and Meg's. But anyway that's a little off-topic...  |
