Yeah, AI's down to the top 9 now, so they don't need a full two hours. More time for House, hurrah!
Did you see Hugh Laurie's speech at the Golden Globes, when he won Best Actor for House. I loved it. ^_^

Oh I've never heard of House, heh I guess that I just don't watch enough TV, I've never been the TV person though.

I don't watch much either since NFL season has been over..if my dad hadn't turned me on to house I'd be right back online at 9pm (EST) every Tuesday Night

Up until fairly recently I only watched TV Land--shows like I Love Lucy, I Dream of Jeannie, Leave it to Beaver--but lately I've branced out into a few other shows. I watch American Idol, House, Monk, and Law and Order: SVU.

I remember watching reruns of other shows like Quantum Leap or Miami Vice since I couldn't the latter when it was normally..I never miss the Twilight Zone marathon on new years eve!

Well when I watched TV more frequently I recall that I loved the comedy sitcoms a lot. I was the comedy person before but with time I eventually stopped watching them. …I loved Three's Company, The Brady Bunch(Sp?), Cheers and all of those classic sitcoms.

I'm glad you like them they're great shows. Maybe I'll catch an episode or two someday soon... they're worth watching.
Changing the subject... what is there to say on V for Vendetta? I've heard phans say that it's alike to POTO and that Evey is based on Christine but I have not watched the movie. Never been the type that enjoys terrorist movies (change is good though)....

I wondered what the whole thing was with V for Vendetta icons popping up on poto icon journals? I'm not really interested in watching the movie so I really have no idea what it is about

It's about "Freedom! Forever!” Political reasons and terrorism etc, in other words. I've heard that it's great and I've heard some phans say that it is like POTO because:
Evey's character is based on Christine's V wears a mask V is has some sunburns or some type of disfigurement V wears a cloak The movie demonstrates rejection and other phantom-related emotions
And a few other reasons. I think that V leaves roses or something too.

I've heard a lot of people comparing V to POTO too, but I haven't paid much attention to most of it, because I haven't seen V. Anybody know if I should or not? I'm not put off by it but I'm not particularly drawn to it either...

I'll admit that the fact that it has been said that it is alike to POTO and that it has also been said that it's a wonderful film draws me to it but it is the extremely controversial type of film and I've heard that it offends some people's beliefs (it offends conservative ones) so I'm skipping it for the moment, I don't think that more controversy than the one that there is in politics in real life itself is needed. Yet it could be interesting and useful, you never know. The thing is that I'm not sure myself if I should see it... Here is a thread on V for Vendetta, there are some (very) dumb posts on it but there are as well some good reviews and lists on its alikeness to POTO. Can't say it is the thing that will change one's mind but anyway it's worth reading.
