Obviously this thread won't be too active at first, but hopefully we'll get more people with varied opinions.
My personal favorite Megs are Kate Wray, Jennifer Gould, and (surprisingly) Jennifer Ellison. I hate almost everything about the 2004 movie, but I do actually love Jen as Meg.

Unfortunately I've only heard Jen and the one from the original sdtk..I've heard other pieces from another site, but I would need to listen again, but I think Jen makes a very pretty Meg...

I have heard of many Megs, yet somehow Jennifer's Meg tends to be the one that I really like, and what is very weird is that I am not a great fan of the movie.

Well Jennifer is talented and is actually a real ballet dancer, but what surprised me most was her singing voice

In a good way or a bad way? I like her voice as Meg a lot. A friend told me once that she sounded better as Roxie in Chicago, but I've--unfortunately--never heard her in that. Oh, and you can hear clips of her singing her pop singles and demos at this site.

She sounds a bit different singing those pop demos..Hearing those and her sing Angel of Music make me realize how versatile her voice is

I agree that her voice is very pretty; sometimes I daresay that she'd be a better Christine DaaƩ.

Dare I say I wish they had more songs for Meg to sing?

...Though I also like a lot Janet Devenish's Meg, she was the first Meg that I listened to- and I found her voice lovely, as well as her acting.

I like Janet as Meg, my only problem with her is that when she and Sarah sing together toward the end of the song, you can barely hear Janet, and I like hearing the harmony there.
