Oh dear, I just had a chance to read that POM chapter you posted in its entirety, phantomphreak. All the little details that are wrong bother me so much! Like Opera Angel pointed out, why would Christine have been alone? She and Raoul left together, in the stage show and the movie. The monkey music box isn't found underneath the cloak on the chair, the mask is. And Meg is the only one there who finds it. I also highly doubt that Meg would refer to Raoul as "Raoul de Chagny" if she calls Christine "Madame". Such propriety would lead her to refer to him as "Vicomte," not his Christian name. Oh, I have a headache...

Just hearing about that stuff is giving me a headache. I could write a book better than that, w/ correct information. I mean even the little stuff is important!! The monkey box found under the cloak on the chair??? Thats a pretty important part. I mean thats the ending of the musical!!! Also it's brings further questions as to why Andrew Lloyd Webber chose Meg as the character to find his mask.

OK I learned from a source how the book ended..If you want to know I will post it here with a commentary from someone (a person did a piece on deviantart ) What I must say is after learning the ending: Meg/Merik phans hate it (already known with destruction of Meg) C/R shippers hate it Raoul lovers will hate it Christine lovers will hate it And lastly C/E shippers will hate it! (the way it ends has no words for how bad it is)
If ALW ends his play like the book I will scream! (if you want to know why I can post the artist comments here)
