Aw! Thank you so much! To be compared to artists like Poe and Dickens is, like... wow.  The N/M pairing is based off of something in Nadir's past (his dear friendship with and unrequited love for Meg's mother) and won't amount to THE pairing of the story, but will bloom into a sweet friendship, none the less. The next chapter is up to show the prelude to this relationship, by the way.  But... I won't be updating for a while on anything (including the site) because I am swamped with homework and other madness, so I'll disappear for a bit, but I promise to come back! |

So.... That was the biggest lie ever told as I've not updated and it is now April.
I'm seriously considering getting back into phanphic, but am having trouble doing so. Can anyone reccommed some good E/M stuff for me to read (or even re-read)?

OH. MAH. GAH. In case you didn't know, I just saw you updated Empress. I must say this is the most INCREDIBLE erik/meg fic I've ever read. It's awesome! Nadir is so very...well...Nadir. Clever and not too stern to ruffle Erik's feathers. Meg is truly innocent and perhaps a little dumb, which is how I like to see her anyway. (honestly, she DID grow up in the opera house, they weren't exactly handing out scholarship programs for dancers like they do now). But she's so eager to please, and I think (at least this is my take) she doesn't quite understand things about the Fighters, but she's almost frightened into trusting Erik and Nadir Khan. Hopefully of course she'll learn that she need not fear them for long (or at least Nadir anyway). Suuuuuch a great fic! Thanks so much for updating! ;D

Thank you so much, Little Giry! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. It felt so good to write Empress again. I'm a little stuck with Our Today, simply due to pacing. I am scared to move the relationship too fast. But Empress... it's going to be slow and I know it. And I hope my readers realize this. In actuality, I may split it up into two parts.

I was thinking that maybe Nadir could meet Meg, take her out to see what she knows of Erik, maybe Erik could see them and jump to conclusions. (maybe jump down Nadir's throat...) anyway, I know it really isn't much, but I know you said you were having trouble with the fic. |

Well, way back when the 2004 movie first came out, young and naive little high school version of Pleading Eyes decided to write a musical sequel to the movie called "The Shape in the Shadows."
I started posting it on fanfiction.net, and got all the way through the first half (first act?) before it got taken down for being in script form.
I've never reposted it again, though I've often thought I should. But there are some things in it that, looking back, should be re-written.
Though I would love to someday get some friends together and record the songs, make our own original cast recording of it! Though then we'd need someone who can write music to make up tunes to go to my lyrics...

So... I feel like a dirty-rotten-traitor. For several reasons, but mainly:
A) I've been gone for months
B) I'm writing stuff for another fandom
C) I haven't updated any of my EM phics.
Feel free to throw rotten vegetables at me as I lurk around LM and hope to regain my EM muse.
